About us

The principal consultant at Bosky Trees is Ben Rose. He has been an arboricultural and ecological consultant since 2001. During this time he has worked on a wide range of projects ranging from development proposals to management plans for internationally important wildlife sites. Ben has extensive experience in TPOs and trees on development sites having worked for Bristol City Council for several years as an Arboricultural Officer at the planning department.

All other tree surveyors who work for Bosky Trees are trained to a high level of competency. Our aim is to increase understanding trees and the benefits that they provide to communities, and through assisting with the planting and management of trees we can help produce attractive and functional landscapes both now and in the future. Enthusiasm and the drive to be the best are key values of the company and we like to work in partnership with other professionals that have similar standards.

Qualifications

  • Professional Diploma in Arboriculture from the Royal Forestry Society.
  • Registered user of the Quantified Tree Risk Assessment Methodology (QTRA).
  • A Degree in Natural Resource Management from the University of Southampton.
  • A Masters Degree in Ecology and Management of the Natural Environment from Bristol University.
  • A Chartered Environmentalist with the Society for the Environment.
